One-Year Membership Application & Helping Hands Registration
One of our goals is to promote the family childcare provider’s professional growth and improve the community image of the family childcare profession. As a result of our actions, we have an active voice for our profession, performing an advocacy role in the state of Maryland.

We’ll help you get started by providing guidance in the
areas of contracts, tax laws, bookkeeping, advertising, and any questions you
may have regarding the licensing or renewal process.

We have fully trained persons to fingerprint for the
criminal background check. This service is provided free to our members and
includes family members and substitutes, if necessary.

We’ll keep you informed and provide support. Our monthly
newsletters and monthly association meetings will keep you abreast of upcoming
workshops, current childcare issues, CCFDCA-sponsored workshops, CPR/First Aid
training, organized social activities/field trips, and other items of interest.

We’ll assist you in lowering operating costs by providing
resources to purchase childcare supplies and equipment at discount rates.

We’ll help you fill openings through our FREE referral
network, “Helping Hands” (current license must be on file).
·
Membership in the CCFDCA automatically enrolls you as a
member of the Maryland State Family Day Care Association.
Associate memberships are
offered to interested parties who may not yet have their CCA registration, but
would like to benefit from CCFDCA. Associate members do not have a vote, cannot
hold office, and cannot participate in “HELPING HANDS”, but can receive free
fingerprinting, attend functions, receive the newsletter, and any other
benefits of a licensed member not excluded above.

The
annual dues for members and associate members are $30.00 per year. Dual
licensed members dues are $30.00 for the first person and $20.00 each
co-provider. Please make check payable to CCFDCA and include a copy of you
current CCA registration/license for all new and renewing memberships. Mail to:
